Last weekend the Freiburg Pirate connection, unfortunately sans the injured Daniel Fach, made its way to Kirchenhausen to the Forestman marathon. Matthias Glaser and I rode the middle distance together (36m/58km, 4265 vertical ft/1300hm). Since the race was pretty flat, the tempo was high from the very beginning and so the 400 bikers were pulled apart. After 2:04h and with an average of 17.4mph/28km/h I came in 3rd. Matthias, who came in 2nd, and I were in 2nd place in the team ranking!

Next week I'm going to the german College Championship in Frankfurt.
Integrated in the Henninger Tower they will search for the masters of the streets.
