Today, I'm sitting cluelessly at my desk and tomorrow I'm going through some hardcore training on Lanzarote.... Somehow I always let myself be talked into the stupidest things.

On Tuesday my phone rang and it was my old buddy Joe, who asked me if I could fill in for a friend, who had gotten ill suddenly....
a few days later, I really have to push myself to basically pull the Volcano-Triathlon
(olympic distance .9m/1,5km swim,25m/40km bike ride, 6m/10km run) out of my ass a few days later...

here we are still grinning happily with exile-Pirate Claudia on the morning before...

and this is where fun turned...serious....shit, .9m/1,5km is pretttty faaaar.

Changeover zone...

good things take time.....since I hadn't run in a year the last 6m/10km were really haaaard and loooong.

luckily they gave us a good kneeding afterwards....

Of course it was party time afterwards, where even the winner (a bear-like Latvian) managed to stay until 4am.

and thanks to Vodka-Redbull... we did too.

or were other things present that could keep us awake??

maybe it was just the existing adrenaline count!?!?

anyway, the only thing we were capable of the next day was extreme chilling....

next year, we definitely want to be back at the starting line !
