Last Sunday I had a half-marathon on my marathon program and the City HM in Frankfurt came just at the right time. The weather forecast promised great sunshine, so I left for "Mainhattan" at sleepy-time, right after 6. I quickly changed and was ready to go…

The starting shot was fired at 9:02 on the nose for the Everyman Division - 2min after the Elite (Pay attention to the middle left-hand side of the picture…).

The track was pretty cool - including a lap of the inner-city of Frankfurt, after which we made our way back to the start-finish area in the north-west center.

When I reached the finish line, I was happy to discover that I had finished in almost the exact time I had hoped to!
