	Christmas-Cross in Harburg Traditionally on the 2nd Christmas Day, is cross-day in Harburg, even we had temperatures of –10degrees and lots of snow, but I participated. Firstly I inspected the course, but even the RG of Harburg did a good job to make the clourse ridable, it was really hard to manage it. Leif Borlinghaus
	The „ Running Pirates“ visited the FSG Medicine in Hoyerswerda e.V. At the 14th of december the FSG Medicine e.V gave a spezial kind of course. They prooved several times, what they are made of during the last months and not only in the running scene, no way, almost in everything what makes fun. So, they tried a course, so called “ Aqua-Drill”. This is a course of the FSG Medicine, and it is for sportsmen, who want to try something new or to built up some more endurance in another way. So, did the “ Running Pirates” with loud music and unforgiven drill of the teacher. Harald Skopi
	Heavy deep snow and a cross-race! After a journey with no problems I arrived just in time Hannover for a race of the Cup of Germany. With the starting signal, the race started right thru the fresh fallen snow of the bight before. Robert Karrasch
	Result of my first day as a Pirat Yesterday, I started again for the first time since 10 years at the New Years Eve Run of Zürich on the 4,4km distance, as well like 721 men and 913 women. Jürg Hottinger

	Blutsventje News " Cross Cup of Germany " Moin landlubbers, last weekend I had a double date in the Saarland on my schedule, in Schmelz and in Homburg, two races of the Cross-Cup of Germany, with the device: “Just ate right”. I finished 2nd in Schmelz and 3rd in Homburg, and so everything went quite well for me… Ubi "Blutsventje" Weidner
	Cyclocross in Kaltenkirchen right outside the city limits of Hamburg lies the small village Kaltenkirchen... Here Benita proved that her 3rd place from last time, was not a flash in the pan ! So, we travelled to Kaltenkirchen to terrefy the forest there. Ronald Prinzlau
	Street run in Bertlich, a 5k run. Last sunday we used the 3rd run of the Herten-Bertlich run series 2010 as a fitness test after 5 weeks of break for the triathlon season of 2011. So, we did the 5km run just for testing. Reiner Kowalzik
	Cross-race in Elmshorn and Volksdorf Two times the 17th place for me last weekend. Because I haven´t rode my bike for almost 10days, I travelled a little bit nervous to the race on saturday in Elmshorn. The temperatures were really cold and it was a really slippery and icy and I wasn´t really relaxed because of it. Leif Borlinghaus
	Stevens Cup in Elmshorn As some of my team-mate already told, some Pirates participated on this very cold race. Even the “ CHIEF” was there and supported/ supplied us. There were lots of good riders at the pro´s race, from the national champion to the World Champion, almost everybody was there. Thomas Zühlke

	...one of these days... after two pictures my battery was empty ( temperatures around –5degrees), good job, but I still had my mobile camera...2 pictures later...battery empty… So, I took some pictures with Benitas camera, sadly I didn´t have a USB-cable in my bureau...so I tried to read the memory card in my computer...fine, it fits...but nothing worked...re-start of the computer...computer doesn´t work anymore….well done!!! 	The last 4 cross-races in the north At the 6th of november, we went to the Panther´s Cup in Braunschweig and we had lots of rain travelling there. The first half of the race we had to ride in pouring rain, after that, it went quite goog for me, I rode meanwhile on the 5th place, when suddenly, my tyre went off the wheel….Well, shit happens. 	Bastard weather, After I decided myself to start in this criss-cross season, in the 2nd senior class. This 2h MTB-race right outside the city-limits of my home town, crossed my way. 	Weser Ems Cup… this time at the „ Attersee“ in Osnabrück After the races in Engter and Surwold, we travelled for the next race of the deries at the Attersee near Osnabrück. Ansgar ( Pirate trainee ) had to solve another quest for becoming a real “ PIRATE ”. Rainer van Ellen

	A „ small“ round around the lake ;-) Finallay sunday arrived and it was time for the „ Rursee-marathon“ !!! And chiKKen knew…It would be really fu….g hard. Whar else can I say about the “ Rursee” ??? Well, it’s a reservoir in the Eifel, nearby the tiny village of Einruhr. 	The Cross-Saison started all over again! Das What does it mean? Lot´s of mud, really hard exercise and 40minutes of suffering ona very ambitious and sometimes even painful course, but with funny mud-games and a fantastic atmosphere at the hard shoulder. 	A Hard Day´s Work Normally the 8h-race in Barntrup is my race. You can ride steadiness and don´t have to race shortly speed intensities. You just ride as a sinlge-rider, 8h thru rain and mud. Andre Döring
	Bruneck-Trento-Plettenberg Friends, good friends of mine, said to me I just would ride a bike with a starting number on it and if I don´t want to ride with them from Bruneck to Trento. The course leads over the Dolomits and cross over the famous “ Bindelway”, and most of the time you´re over 2000m above the sea-level. Andre Döring

	My best and most successful season ever or Team Pirate makes you fast After I spent some years in the MTB-team of the Pirates, but I decided myself to lay a liitle bit more energy in my triathlon-career…and asked, if I´m allowed to join the Pirate-Triathlon-Team, I was. 	Romy entered Roc d' Azur The „ German baggage“ with the head coach and us, the U17 and U19 riders, arrived one week earlier before the race in France. We did an exercise unit, at the famous “ Mont Ventoux”. Romy Schmid
	Uwe, Pirate from Koslar (Jülich) He can look back on a successful and injury free season of 2010. After a good result on a middle-distance triathlon in Bocholt, he also finished three times in the top10 of his age-group, at the triathlons in Hennef, Ratingen and Indeland. Uwe Steingräber
	Intermot / Night of the Jumps Kolonia Traditionally we travelled to the „Intermot“ and were invited by Sven, to come with him to the „ Night of the Jumps“. …Melina was there as well, and were chased by the military police. On Sunday morning, the 10.10.10 – Im addicted to multidigit numbers, I had this daft idea of becomoing a Pirate-reporter at the “Intermot” in Cologne. I wasn´t aware of that, that Ron already handled it on the day before, but at the military police, they didn´t want me, what a pity the BMW, is quite comfortable. Ronald Prinzlau / Melina Sen

	Weser Ems Cup, the first race On monday I was on the MTB, together with the „ Chief“ Pirate Ron in Harburg, yesterday I rode with Ansgar together in Sternwede with my cross-bike a CTF and today we went to a cross-race in Engter/ Bramsche. It was the first run of the “ Weser-Ems Cup 2010” in Engter and also, it was my first cross-race. 40minutes of pushing the pedal and lots of technical stuff is needed...both of them, not my speciality. 	Last MTB-race and first Cross-race, At the 19th of october we drove to Schöningen, for the National Championships of Lower-Saxony, okay I just live here, but I start for Hamburg and my goal was not to finish on the 4th place, but all the race over I was on the 4th place and so… Thomas Zühlke

	Halbmarathon Karlsruhe I just wanted to sent you some picture´s from a Pirate in Karlsruhe, who ran a half-marathon. I´m the boy-friend ( common-law spouse) of Daniel Ritthammers mother in law. Even in Karlsruhe, Pirates are running the half-marathon, okay maybe just one, at the 19th of september was the 28th Fiducia Baden-marathon and half-marathon in Karlsruhe. There were about 9500 people participating it, and the weather conditions were great for running, 14degrees and sunny. Klaus Morlock

	Jog and Rock in Bensheim at the 26th of september 2010 Finally he was there: the day of my second half-marathon, because running a half-marathon during a middle distance is something else and not running a half-marathon. And I wanted to run a little bit faster than in march where I needed 1:40:02h for this distance, and so I got myself under a bit of pressure and trained reall yhard for that day, because I didn´t know, if the course would be so flat as well( she wasn´t) or if I had the shape of my life at the 21st of march, okay she was at least better than in Bensheim… Doro Richters

	Pirates of glamour at the Butterberg The mountain called and the Pirates followed this call and tried to defeat the mountain. The first start of the “ Running Pirates of the Lausitz” at the race around the Butterberg, which took part last weekend for the 10th time, and was quite successful for the leisure time and multi-sport group. The first medal was won by the offspring Pirate-girl Nele Skopi (8) on the 600m distance. Harald Skopi
	Crossduathlon in the hills of Hamburg-Harburg… Last weekend, the 25th of septmeber was the Bergamont-cross duathlon in the hill of Hamburg-Harburg ! I participated with Caro in a mixed-relay-team. I knew that she run in her leisure time and so I asked her, if she wanted to participate. She doesn´t even thought about it and said: YES. But she did not know, what´s coming up on her, so she started up very carefully and slowly the first round. Willy Schaffner
	Hi Pirates, At the finals of the national offspring sighting in Bayreuth, I participated as well. Only the best MTB´s of Germany were on the start and fought a fierce battle for the places. Sadly the weather was bad, it rained all night long. Romy Schmid
	Blutsventje News "Something new out of the institution 2.0" Moin Landlubbers, 7 days - 7 pastures, collecting km´s. Stoißeralm – Kaitlalm – Reiteralm – Königsbachalm – Gotzenalm – Stroblalm – Höllenbachalm, with and without Cheese cake…luckily I´m in open enforcement as a repeating sexual offender and in the afternoon, I can go out for a ride with an electronic transponder around my ankle. 	Even women can handle this: How to repair your bike, for ladies: If its time to repair your very own bike, even the most top athlete female, has to ask for help. It works until a woman will stand all alone with a flat tyre at the Hellefelder peak and has to call home for help, because the doesn´t has a spare tyre, not to speak of tools. But this won´t had help, because the last she even repaired a flat tyre was such long time ago, that she´s not able to remember anymore how it works. Everytime there was someone, who fixed and hadled it better and faster. Bernd Schiermeister
	Knappensee At the end of august was our annual relay triathlon on the schedule. After we already participated in Cologne and Wilhelmshaven we made our way in the “ Reich” of the “Running Pirates of the Lausitz”. There was a middle distance triathlon at the Knappensee, and this year, it was our part to travel. Patte (bike) only in the 70km far-out Peitz. Rainer van Ellen
	Radmarathon SURM, am At the 19th of september 2010 we went to Alpirsbach for the Surm Bike-Marathon. Me and a colleague of mine from Feuchtwangen, Thomas and our team-member Frank also wanted to participate. Frank did the 146km with 1900m of altitude and did a really good job with an average speed of 31km/h. Congratulations, you see our training works. 	Mud games in Engter On Sunday, Ansgar( Pirate on probation) and myself wanted to particpate at the CTF of TUS Engter. Wonderful course with lots of meters of altitude across the Wieherngebirge, like a poem for every MTB-biker. “The forest calls you…” they said on the internet side. 	Garmin Alpen-Triathlon Schliersee - Spitzingsee 18.9.2010 Int. Deutsche Meisterschaft VIDEO TIP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhN_8wjaOas For the end of my season, I wanted to participate at the Alp-triathlon( about 1000 starters ) and to finish under 2:30h. Only the weather conditions weren´t that good, I had some regrets, because the water in the Schliersee had only 14,8degrees and the air temperature were around 12degrees and on the Spitzingsattel 8degrees, obviously too cold for me. 	Moin Pirate-Bunch ! It was time again...I had a crazy-Idea ! A friend of mine, Wolfgang Kulow,his family and a good friend of him, visited us. Time for BBQ…on the last warm day here in the north. It was a good idea, but than… The friend of hime, was no one else than Marcel Heinig, the world champion in 10times triathlon ! 	The P-Wey in Plettenberg Because I only heard good stuff over the race in Plettenberg, I was really excited and looking forward for this contest. When we arrived in Plettenberg, you were able to feel the atmosphere of it. Normally he already sits on Thursday in Paule´s Pub, but this year? He wasn´t there on Saturday eithe, and on Friday, finally he was there and visited Rons hawker´s tray. Maybe he´s getting older??? 	Moin Pirates, Kolbermoor.......lots of rain and snow on the Zugspitze, well like many of the other wet and muddy race weekends. After driving for endless 8h on the interstate, I had to train a little bit on the lane, to loosen up my muscles again. The races on Saturday and Sunday went quite good, in the pre-runs I finished 4th in the other 3rd. But it wasn´t enough to reach or qualify for the finals. Jay-PII

	Final of the Harzcup in Schierke At 28th of august 2010, I made my way, in heavy rain-falls, to the Harz. I counted with the worst and taped my shoes with “Panzertape” (Tank tape), to become water resistant. Thomas Zühlke
	Pirates at night Once more the „ Running Pirate of Lausitz“ prooved in the past, that they´re made for unusually running and leisure time competitions and that they´re in no fear of any kind of weather. atthe 9th of july, Manuela Höhne (46) started on a half-marathon distance, at the lake of Geierswald (a run of the “ Seenland 100-Series”) with temperatures around 35degrees and finished with a time of 2:05h and became the first in her age-group W45. 	It´s august, it´s time to travel to Glücksburg ! I´m (well) prepared…I want to swim, to bike and to run…I wann be an “OstseeMan”! We´re 5 Pirates, who want to get to know their limits… Bjoern and myself are repeat offenders, Robert K. wants after several participations on a relay-team, how it is to do this job alone and Hakan and Martin are Longdistance-virgins or freshmen….Everybody of us prepared himselves for this event in the last days, months and longer. Sadly, the contest of Bjoern, was finished before it even started. He had to work and was “ indispensable”. SO, we, the others, made our way there right in the night, to the transition area. 	Middle distance race at the Austri-Triathlon in Podersdorf! The days before race day brought us heavy rain falls and thunderstorms, but the weather forecast told us, that we would have perfect weather conditions on race day. 	Finale Harzer MTB-Cup Endurothon in Schierke 28.08.10 It didn´t stopp raining all the whole arrival, temperaturs felt like 8degrees, when I arrived in Schierke and weren´t motivated very much. The course is really ambitious, but with rain it ´s a really lust killer. I promised my friends to ride a long distance, but under this weather conditions I only did the middle distance again. Well, put on the rain jacket, topcoat over the bike shoes, finger gloves and the thick leg warmers and ready to start. Sometimes during the race,you were to see the sun. Andre Döring

The coal mine “Zollverein” is since 2001 a World-heritage of the UNESCO, like the Taj-Mahal and is the last place of the “run and rock culture heritage series” over the splitting half marathon distance. 	Blutsventje News "2nd MTB Cup Hochspeyer" Moin Landlubbers! Again the 2nd place in Phalia...at the 2nd MTB Cup Hochspeyer a race of the MTB Cup Saar-Phalia. Here, the organizer, Ken Bloomer from Crema Cycles ( www.cremacycles.de ), made up a 3km long cross-country bike round-course on the grounds of the single-trail and technical-PARCOURS park of Hochspeyer, with lots of single-trails, root passages and hard and damp ascents. 	One of the most beautiful bike days… Silence – it started with the sun down behind the two castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Ludwigs II. Even we, the biker, who just finished pimped up our bikes with the starting numbers and checked our bikes for the last time, became silent and watched the sun down over the castles and mountains on a wooden bank and enjoyed the upcoming silence. 	Ahoy Pirates, before I´ll report you in a few days of my marathon in Willingen, I´ll show you some pictures of my new bike. I was in need of a fast bike for the town and thought together with Ron, of a 3-gear shift, when I remarked that I even were able to came up and down the hill with a single-speed. A fast one, but sadly you need some time to tame it, but if you became friend with the only gear, it´s a real good bike for the town. A Marin Iverness, but its pimped a little bit. 	My first longer distance or how my first appearance on the middle distance almost fell in the toilet… Two nights before, in the night of Friday(23., luckily not the 13th) to Saturday the 24th, I woke up because of cramps in my stomach and well...SQUIRTS. So, I didn´t sleep anymore the coming hours, and when I got on my feet, I felt really dizzy after going for 5m. Even after the drop out of Benita Wesselhöft right before the start (inury of her knee, had to be sewn by 12 stitches) orafter the fast drop out of Anne Bertram ( after riding for two times because of bad headaches), Doro Richters, Martina Stück, Renate Heil, Melina Sen, Anita Olschnegger and Katharina Schäfer won the 24h MTB-race with 2 ½ rounds in front for themselves. 	Moin Landlubbers! If I already knew before the race that I missed the next place before me by only 11seconds…than you won´t stood at the start line of a MTB-time trial. But the conditions for everybody of the 170starters, were the same. 	Hello Folks, before I´m getting started to report you from the race, I´ll like to stay quiet for a while to remember the relatives of the 38year old MTB-guy from Austria, who had a deadly accident during the trophy-race. He tried to pass another rider on the right hand side on a very small passage, the other rider already rode far right, so they hit each other and the rider from Austria lost control of his bike, and fell into a 80m deep canyon and died because of the crash. 	...in Rittershausen were 3 Pirates on the start. When Stephan, David and myself inspected the course on friday we knew that we wouldn´t be able to ride with half speed down to the valley. Even the first jump was very mean, so I jumped not far enugh the first times, because you weren´t able to see the landing point before you are in the air. 	Sometimes they´re days, it doesn´t work that well... ...like this, I didn´t think about it that a German Championship in Bad Salzdefurth would end up like this. Obviously I wanted to defend my 3rd place from the year before. Everything went good while downhill on Friday. After 2 pre-runs, I could gain the 4th place. The downhill part was really hard to ride but dry. This result was also my starting place on Saturday at the CC-race. The very spezial Ron preparation for a triathlon is...never been swimming again since finished the last City Man in 2003, didn´t ran for the last three years…and… Declaring, sometimes I sat on the bike… but we did a great BBQ in the evening before the Competition and drank a lot of wheat beer…and of course took a trip to the KIEZ ( because we had foreign visitors…) and than finished with an unbelievable 67th place from 167 in his age-group. 	Moin, Moin, on the 3rd of july I participated at the bike-marathon in Wetter on the 49km course with about 1400m of altitude. For me, it became a true red hot battle, with one of the hottest days of the year with at least permanent temperatures from over 30 degrees, as my tacho said, sometimes up to 36 degrees, some of the others talked about 40 degrees. 	Moin Pirates, We had to struggle with temperatures at around 36 degrees and as well with the “ small” hills in Görlitz, with a course of 7 rounds with each 17,3km and 3 small rising hills. My tactical plan was to relax until 3km before the finish to attack my showdown. The freebooter of the Lausitzer Zealand traveeled there this again with their large amount of supporter and groupies. 	Moin Moin In june I had 2 races on my schedule. 1. Race in Bad Wildbach, just similst to the start, the weather became warm and dry,while the week before we had just rain. We had to ride a round course with a length of 28km and and depending on your course you had to ride it 1,2 or 3 times. I started on the middle distance with a length of 56km and 1650m of altitude. 	Hello Pirate-fans. On the 3rd of july 2010 was here in our Badener-country the „ Höllengrund-Marathon“ from the RSV-Kurpfalz Schwetzingen with a course over 208km and about 2000m of altitude. I decided for myself to bring it to end this time for sure, to improve my shape. I didn´t arrive very early for the start, I travelled there by bike from Hockenheim to Schwetzingen, registrate and talked a bit and then started at 7:31AM on the 208km course criss-cross thru the wonderful Odenwald. Black Forest ULTRA Bike Marathon at the 20th. of june 2010, happened on a typical Black Forest summer, OH...now I took some damage to the German Tourist Association of the Black Forest, sorry ´bout that. We had temperatures around 2,5 degrees( average is 6 degrees) and shower of sleets in the region of the Feldberg, all these things made this weekend unforgettable. Thomas Büttner

	Tegernsee Marathon (6.6.2010): St.Peter must be a MTB-rider: because we had sunny 26 degrees at the Tegernsee-Marathon in Rottach-Egern. Record participation: Their were 2059 starters from Germany, Austria, the USA, Australia and Great Britain. You could choose between four different courses, their were at least 1000 starters on the B-course ( 55km/ 1650,40m of altitude) One of them was Timo, sadly I wasn´t able to start because of a cold, I got me one week go. 	I enjoyed myself like a little kid on christmas for the the festival and the marathon. Finally again, hanging out with more than 100 of like-minded people, talking about technical stuff and even more better to compare our state of fitnis on Saturday on the course. Awesome track, but the home stretch was a bit in need of getting used to. 	MTB-festival in the valley of the Tegernsee 2010 Moin moin Pirates, on sunday the 6th of june 2010 it was time again for the MTB-race at the Tegernsee. But I slept not that good the night before, something felt like a heavy stone in my stomach. At 6:25o´clock I made my way to Rottach-Egern, when I arrived there at 7:45o´clock I received my starting package and took some breakfast. The organization of this event was really awesome again. 	Sunday the 06.06. duathlon in Rambach. My first victory this year. It started really quickly over the first 3,2km in the hilly Rambacher forest. I barely could follow a real good runner only until km 2, than I had to let go, but on the 14km MTB course I soon rode up to him and made my way back in front and were able to get some time in between us, so, he didn´t become a danger to me on the final running part. 	Moin Pirates, Last week I travelled to Lake Gardo and went on Wednes- and Thursday on a hald day tour. But first of all I rent me a bike at the local bike shop “Los Locos” in Lazise, a “ Ghost Mtb”. I wasn´t the absolute classics, but 40,-€ for 3 days was a good price and the bolide did a good job. The first tour I did, was with a good friend of mine, which I met in Cisano, the starting point in Garda. Mike Heins

	23th Public and Raffeisen banks triathlon of the city of Amberg On Father´s day, the 13th of may, the triathlon of Amberg took place under winterly conditions. 	13th Kollerbecker MTB-race on the 22th of may It was a event of the „challenge4mtb“ series Finally the sun... We had to ride 5 rounds with a creek crossing. 	Cycling marathon in Rockenhausen On the 22th of may 2010 the cycling marathon of Rockenhausen were on the schedule of the Hockenheimer Pirates. Rockenhausen is located in Donnersbergkreis and this is in Palatinate. Marcus Silberer
	Capt´n Porneaux came out smelling like a rose – He did not take one Stepp on the flagship he grabbed himself instead of that rather a mug of rum – there were no more possibilties – just enter another ship and off we go, Stephan, Lutz and myself to Gütersloh. But this wasn´t the most worse decision of Porneauxx, normally you need about 90min to Gütersloh but on Friday before the whitsunday weekend you need about 4 ½ h. And because of that, the butt and the legs ached like after a marathon. Marc Nierhaus

	If 42km become 45km,… Athletes of the „ body and shape e.V“ were with two teams on the start at the 9th run and bike in Neuzelle. A look at the temperature told us that it wouldn´t get to hot that day, we had temperatures around 7°C and the wind blew the rain over the Oder-dik. And if you got weather conditions like this it’s a tournament and no going for a walk…But the “Lausitzer running Pirates were aware of this, when they arrived at the gate of the abbey in Neuzelle that day the 15th of may. 	One year later !!! Exactly one year ago, chiKKen, started for the first time on a 10k run with capt´n Klotz and Sveny in Alsdorf. This means first 10km run for chiKKen. The announcement was clear, do what you think it would be done, but run under 45min. It worked, he finished it in 44:11min. This year now, we wanted to see his achievement on the same course. 	Pirate-power in the Spreewald The running Pirates of Lausitz participated at the 8th. Frost meadow run. On the 3rd of january the Lausitzer running Pirates proved at the new years run, that they were unresistant against cold, icy temperatures or frozen paths nor snow. Harald Skopi

By the time we´re now 8 massive crew members, who are regulary participating in or at running and sports events. 	Season opening of the Harz-Cup We had a wonderful weather on the 25.04.10 while we trqavelled to Bad Harzburg. Las tyear we had lots of run and the race was some kind of mud struggle. We started with about 164 participants on the middle distance and shortly after the start, we had an uphill part for at least 15 minutes of time. Luckily I had a good start and was in front, but I wasn´t sure about if I can go that speed for the long time and all the 1660m of altitude. Thomas Zühlke
	Hardest fights in Ingersheim What for a weekend, we had to leave my mom at home, because the car was cramped, but she followed the competition on Facebook. Everything went good on Saturday, we had about 41 starters in my age-group ( U13). I did a really good job during the pre-runs and the qualifications for the final. Than the final, I had a real bad start, again, I dropped back to the 9th place but then I did not hesitate to fight my way back to the front and finished 2nd. Mike Voss

	Finally crossing… Everything started up with the subject “crossing” while I boughrt myself a corbone cross fork from Focus at Ebay and a Cube aloy-frame, which ran under the category of Trekking and cross-frames. 	uwe, A pirate from Jülich,changed to begin of this year his wetsuit for a skisuit and entered the mountains around Livigno, Italy. How you can see, you can find Pirates everywhere, even in about 2745m of altitude. 	Ciao landlubbers, just right after my roadbike-exercise-week on Gran Canaria I travelled over Easter holidays to the MTB-trail-EL DORADO, to Lake Garda. The weather was quite passable, a little bit freezy but nice and with lots of sunshine you got started up on the trails… One thing to do, is like a must have seen, the Monte Brione. 	Doro in the Bavarian forest This year I decided to do my exercise camp in our very own home forests,to precise, in the Bavarian forest. 	Hola landlubbers, I´m back in Germany with a suitcase full of sun. Just finsihed some tours in the sun of Gran Canaria, endless Café con Leche…but one after all: We entered our new 2010 Cannondale rent roadbikes from Free Motion ( www.free-motion.net) Here you had the choice between many roadbikes and MTB also to buy some new and used bikes. The shop supplies many belongings, some tours for road, MTB and Trekking, as well like special weeks and the most important thing for myself is, some very nice Café con Leche in the patio… Ubi weidner
	Trainings- Camp on Fuerteventura : or basic exercise „ Gone with the Wind“ Finally the day arrived, the day to escape from ice-cold Germany and to travel to some warmer realms. Training-campon Furteventura was on the schedule, where I wanted to collect my first bike km´s and of course to get some basic stamina. I had the thought and the will to do so, but something went wrong, because the wind let me ride only in higher pulse area´s. Björn Henschke

	Blutsventje News "Live from Gran Canaria" Hola landlubbers, I arrived last wednesday on the sunny Island of Gran Canaria. On the weekend took part a OPEN MTB-Marathon race of Gran Canaria anf the final run of the Canaries Challenge 2010. So, I made my plans all for cycling this winter to do some basics and of course to prepare for the Hmaburg marathon to reach a time under 3:00h, a little bit earlier than I used to plan for 2011. Well, you know everything about the weather yourselves and I got mad about me, because all my exercise were now made of running and not cycling, apart of a few visits of the pool and some trying to cycle in the deep snow. 	Pirate-Ski-Touring-Team….(????) Yes, even myself changed for a short time this winter to ski-touring.as many of us Pirates of the triathlon-team. At the beginning I was very crucial about it, if it worth it to buy yourself a ski-touring equipment, while you don´t have very often the oppertunities to ski in Germany. 	We had the cycling events for the Collier County (Naples, Florida) over the past two days. You'll be happy to know that the Pirate dominated and proudly wore the intimidating colors of piracy. 	From old to new. After 10 years and about 30`000km my good old bicycle ergometer finally quit its service to me, now a decision was made… Elvis
	2009, a retrospective: Int. St. Wendeler MTB Marathon and Bank1Saar Marathon in St.Inbert Better late than never – at this point a retrospective on tha last days in autumn and all the things you can call a highpoint at this time of the season in Saarland for the MTB-Marathon stuff. Year after year, but never boring. We´ll start with the Bank1Saar MTB-Marathon in St.Ingbert, where almost 600 participants started with best weather conditions for the 10th anually MTB-Marathon. I started on the half-marathon course. Luckily it had dried up from the heavy rainfalls the days before, something good. Well, the 48km and 1400m of altitude went quite good for me, I had lots of fun anf finsihed with a time of 2:32h, this was the 21th place in my age-group. During the race the ground dried up more and more, while all the wet stuff disappear in this area very fast, and their is not much space left for muddy parts. Amilcar Pires
	Perfekt timing… …is, when you order yourself at the beginning of the week some touring ski and they arrive on Friday morning and they also fit and if it starts to snow on Friday night. But now in strict rotation. Until now, there weren´t a doubt of it, that it would be too cold to exercise, but that we got that much snow, even in the flat country because of the change of climate, I decided myself to order a pair of touring ski. Obviously, a good idea, but I wasn´t the only one ith it in good old Germany – bullshit. Jörn Faul

	Everybody is dreaming of snow, but me, Rainer , is dreaming of palm trees and strange signs. So, we made our way to Lanzerote in a machine built by Mr. Boing to follow the signs. When we arrived I borrowed me a bike after two rainy days. This wasn´t very easy, because it wasn´t only me who had the dreams of strange signs, but many other triathletes as well.
