The 34th Annual Internatinal Beinwald Marathon in Südpfälzischen took place last weekend. Originally I was planning on running the marathon, but since i injured my knee in January and since then havnt been able to run like i used to, I made the decision to run the half marathon instead. So off we where at an insanely early hour to check-in even though there wasnt much goin on at that point

... we where off to grab some coffee.

After that there was more goin on and I was so ready to get things goin in my black "Warrior Outfit"

Most the running took place on astphalt through small little towns and village like areas

then through Forrest and fields, to the turning point and back with the finish line in the stadium after a final400m sprint.

At the end I was really satisfied with my running and really happy with my time- 1:43:39 hrs. which was more than I had expected especially so early in the year.
