to Würzburg, where the medicine men are. This year, I dragged
my teammate Frank Regge with me for the first time, for probabley
the biggest adventure that can be undertaken on the MTB: the
CAPE EPIC.
After we were hooked up to all those hoses and cables, we
were could really let off some steam on the ergometer. Thomas,
the PREDIA boss, wanted to get us off our bikes for a change,
which induced him to raise the level of resistence every three
minutes.
Inevitably, we were so beat after 20 minutes that we almost
fell off the damn thing. That's what you call a spiro-ergonomic
step test til you overload, sigh.
Unfortunately, the data Prof. Buhl used to create our training
program for the next few weeks leading up to the Cape Epic,
underlie doctor-patient confidentiality. Now, let's see what
goes down in South Africa at the end of March .
We'll stay on the ball...
