on the 12th of september I went to the Vulkanbike Marathon event in Daun., That´s not far away from the Nürburgring, its also near by where I grew up. SO, time had come to enter this race. The start was at 10:00°´clock for the 60km course with about 1300m of altitudes on a bright, sunny late summer day.

The course was fast,didn´t have many trails, well,my favourite course. It went very good just from the start – no scrumms, nor jams, thanks to block starts and modern time-taking, with transponders from Datasport. I finished with a time of 3:07h, I finished 309th from 662, I was really satisfied about this, because I didn´t have much time to exercise, I expected less.

My wishes for next year are more time to exercise and whatever and for you may the wind (place) fill your sails(bike).
