On the last weekend the Sauerland Marathon started the 4th run of the BSN-NRW-Trophy in Grafschaft. Like the years before at the Trophy run, I started on the short distance with 47km and 1250m altitude.

Today is time for count for nothing,despite my braking-problems with my 2006 Specialized TW, I went from one shop to another and everxwhere they told me, that they had problems with the smaller strut at the back and because of that you get some kind of vibration, which is the purpose of the loud noise while I´m braking. They told me, I should write an E-mail to Specialized. Great, we only got 2009 now...the next problem instead of the noise, you can´t get the real feeling for the brake, which also diversify with the brake pads. But the new pads I got from the Specialized Concept Store in Dusseldorf, still make some noise and I still got problems with feeling the brake pedal…

Everybody is still relaxed at the start…
But soon it will be over....
...because, just after the start you made a turn into the forest, but the peleton was still together, so it was very squeezy…so, you struggled not to touch the other riders. Maybe they find a better way to solve this problem next year…

We were lucky with the weather, and it made lots of fun, tell me why I should smile in between???
How they say : the journey is the reward.

At the end, it made a lot of fun, despite of the f…ing brake, so I could relaxed cross the finish line…

Apart from that, there are lots of things to do in Grafschaft, you even got the chance to “Pimp up your cow”.

Well…maybe next year I got a full functionated rear brake. See you next week at the 5th run of the BSN-NRW-Trophy in Hagen, its like a home match…
