The organizer – who are as well the organizer of the VAUDE
Trans Blackforest – called for the 10th Rothaus RiderMan in
Bad Dürrheim with something new:
Rothaus RiderMan Tour 200: (17,1 | 81,5 | 105,2 km) just for
MEN
Rothaus RiderMan Tour 100 (17,1 | 49,0 | 57,6 km) just for
“GIRLS"
.......many of the “girls” I talked to, would´ve loved to
ride the 200km !!!
The tour was a race with 3 stages:
Friday 04.09 Time-Trial over 17km,
Saturday 05.09 stage over 81km and on
Sunday 06.09 a stage over 105km
All days were calculated to one ranking –Tour200- overall
We´ll start on sunday...these thought are the freshes I have...I
rode with my best jersey I got on the 105km stage. Everybody
said who saw this jersey, this is cool or super- a special
honor to the designer of the jersey.the accent is on the outfit…;-)
Back to the race. The choice of the course were very unhappy
this year. In the last years, the race took part on completely
blocked roads. This year it was on, how you can see on the
picture above, on country lanes or better communication roads
between country lanes, it is more difficult to ride it than
bitumen. And of course our friends of the agriculture got
their season every time the race took part. So, all the fields
of corn weremowed and plowed. On the race days were the tractors
the biggest and the walker the smallest hindrance. Next to
horse riders, their were as well cars and lots of plowed earth
to pass by. In short, we had lots of fun and it wasn´t boring
after all. I often got passed by the motorcycle ambulance,
how many times I couldn´t count. But sometimes we were lucky,
because there were some clean, wide roads as well.
My Pirate-jersey attracted also some Hamburger guys…cause
in the Sunday group there were 3 guys from Hamburg and one
from Pinneberg, at this point, special greetings to Rainer
B. I hope you gotta be a PIRATE some day! I don´t wanna hurt
your eyes anymore with my pictures…but it was real nice weather
on Saturday over the 81km. The streets and hindrance were
still the same, only just shorter… ;)
Please don´t be sad, because their are no pictures from the
time-trial !!! After all: to make of this event a 3-Stage-Race
was a good idea. The course would be more for MTB, but just
without any forests. More information under www.sauser.de
Now my ranking of the race at the first weekend in september
: 33. Age-group Master II Büttner Thomas Tuningen Team Pirate
Hamburg 6:47.16,18 / 119.overall ....the first had 5:22:41,98,
so it was very close to me ! When I wanted to win this race
I should participate on AOK-Bikesunday, but first of all I
´ll try the Blackforest-Bike-Marathon in Furtwagen…
See you with my next bulletin and a spezial SALUTE to all
of you
Thomas Büttner
