We wanted snow, real snow and not the fake one, so we travelled to Norway…
Nordseter in Oppland, 20 km north-east of Lillehammer was our goal. What about snow??? The Norway can do snow and even can drive their cars on it…
Our plans fort his holdays: cross country skiing, by learning ba doing. You can find here all around Nordseter more than 2000km of ski-tracks. The snow conditions are quite perfect, you got every day some new snow by having temperatures around -10degrees.
Well, cross country skiing is total body work-out, even when it felt you run at a constant up an hill. While the classic style is something for the basis endurance, you nedd for skating some more power.
Two times we went thru the obviously smallest ski area of the world located here in Norway in Sjusjoen, with our Fun-Carver.
We still felt the spirit of the Plympic Games in 1994, when we visited the ski jumpng area in Lysardbakken and we did some cross country skiing thru the Birkebeineren stadion.
Sometimes pictures tell you more than words…
Having said this: Norway is always worth a trip
