Robby and Beni on a road course:

After the CC-season, we went on our wedding trip, to the other side of the world, where it´s much more warm than here. When we finally got back, we had to face the truth: Ice Age in northern Germany. Nevertheless, we started our exercise again under heavy snow falls on the dike, and we received another bike for our bike pool, with matching stickers, take a look at the hearts… The first test ride for the new bike was on the Saxony Ring in the seniors class. But only for an exercise race for the coming races in Bramsche and Börger. While my beloved husband wanted to train his shape, I just wanted to give the I can… First of all my friend Caro, went way from me, but than I was able to catch the wheel of a fast senior rider and destroyed the field. Sadly I had to change bikes in between, because my bars were quite slippery and had to let go of my pace maker and tried to catch the others on my own. After I managed it, I received a bonus, but at the end I made a mistake at the closing sprint, and wasn´t able to catch a place on the podium, but I was satisfied with my performance. The next day ws more cold than the day before and I tried to hold my position in the front of the field and finally I got Anne on my side again. The sprint wasn´t the best me again and I ended up on the 10th place Dont´care, it was just fun, the bikes are really good and my power, strength and lots more will come within the next weeks. Moni and Walter also participated and did a good job. Next weekend we´ll participate at two cobblestone pavement races. Maybe I´m able to repeat my last year victory in Kellinghusen.
