A great day (7.11.10) of racing in the southeastern USA!
Chattanooga Tennessee's Racoon Mountain is one of the new and
most challenging race courses in the SE Championship Series for
2010.
Also one of the DEADLIEST!
One rider was air lifted off the mountain by emergency evac helicopter
in critical condition (he is alive and well at the hospital)
Many crashes for racers and broken bikes, me included!
Was well on my way to a Top Ten finish, when a broken suspension
bolt on the rear frame shock ended my race after 40 kilometers!
The rock sections were sooooooo BRUTAL and it was hotter than
Hell!
Anyway, the bike is at the mechanics and we will attack Fort Mountain
at next weeks race!
