Endlich!!! Finally!!!

Podium? Yes, we already hit it, some times here before, in our age-groups ( 2nd, 3rd) or with our relay-team. The 14th Cross-duathlon of the Eiffel, was as well the start of the Xterra Germany series, should start a new feeling... On wednesday evening, 4 days before the duathlon in Schleiden, I finally found a partner for my mixed-relay-team, and a good one – thank you Heike. On saturday we registered late for the competition, which got this year a new participants record.  And this is good, like the way it is!!! Heike, ran the day earlier 5000m at the western Germany championships and finished their 3rd in her age-group, but she did a good job at the first run and took the lead. Take a closer look at her method of a U-turn... ´n Klotz rode his Marine MTB for the first time at a race, he had to ride 3rounds and altogether 22km. It was an ambitious course, which made lots of fun and so he rode the best time as well. Than changing the starting number to Heike again, for the last 3,3km, and she ran as well a new best time on the last part of the race. 3 times the best time on all three splits at the relay team, and so we took the outstanding victory, with 11minutes ahead of the 2nd place- YES!!!
