My first race bulletin J

I thought it over for a long time, which contest I shoud take for my first Pirate contest, and finally it was really easy. It should be the famous LakeRun at the Möhnsee, where Capt´n Speckrow with his pink pearl spreads fear all around the lake. They offered a hindrance run on different courses. I decided myself to run the 18km run. A fun run, where you just recieve sour muscles from. The start of the contest was at the 01.09.12 at 14:00o´clock. It got more than 40 hindrances and you had to  cross the Möhnsee for 4 times and the cours got over 300m of ltitude. A fantastic event and a highlight for upcoming Pirates. Some of the participants were really strange and curious, even of the hard´n tough course, they were laughing and had lots of fun. Some of the hindrances were like kellhaul someone, but shoudn´t fail on a contest like this. Sure, it was no contest to get a new personnal best time,  but a successful relief fort he common civilization stress. Two more good facts for this run are, that this contest cost half of the money from the StrongManRun and you recieve a real Pirate Party with lots of rum after the run... A really good organization, I can recommend it to you. At the end I was on the 2nd in the women´s race ;-)  and 48th overall and really satisfied with it.   See you soon, the Manni.
