This year we wanted to try a new kind of marathon.Titmaringhausen was perfect for it, just about 1:30h away from Plettenberg. So,we would be able to participate at both races.
Even our trip there was really nice, we collected Julia somewhere and like the week before it took more than an hour to ride thru the Elb-tunnel, than we headed towards Willingen, when we arrived in Willingen we turned right, towards Titmaringhausen, the road was just about 3m wide. Sometime our GPS told us in 20m turn right...WHAT??? there is just a small field path with high growing grass...well, allright, the GPS told us so, I think the Humer will made it

Later, when we finally reached another road, we teared down the warning tape and so we already drove on the bike course.Than we arrived in the village and found our small motel. It was located only 500m away from the course. In the evening we wanted to eat some thing, what do you have here ? They had escalopes...just escalopes, what a choice...
But the next day, we had a wonderful breakfast. After that we fixed Julia´s bike...
Photograph Astrid is prepared, as well like Stefan..
We were quite in a good mood and just waited fort he race to begin…
Moments after the start, you had to ride thru a small creek...
The Niskens did the middle distance....
In th meanwhile, she short diastance participants arrived. As you can see we did all what we could, even the tiny did her best, and was very proud of the taste of blood on her tongue...
Werner passed us really relaxed…still…
And what about the tiny? She was allowed to jump on the podium.
Even Elvis finished...
...and finally....Stephan as well, but not that cheerfully as before...
...and what about Werner? He knew before, he shouh have taken the short distance...but...
Later Ute and Niels reached the finish…
...and Ute took a podiums place as well....
After all of that, we had some Krombacher beer and alcoholic free shandy...really cold...
Julia also was in need of a race-sausage…
…so she was able to carry her prizes home...
It was a wonderful Saturday. In the evening we went to an Italian restaurant and the very next morning we drove to Plettenberg and just needed 1:10h for the way
